This year, with the placement results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), 3,247 new students have chosen our University and joined our family. 2,098 students were placed in our associate degree programs and 1,149 in our undergraduate programs. Thus, our University reached a nearly 80% occupancy rate, making it the 11th most accepted university among 78 foundation universities.

Our University maximizes its students' academic success while also supporting their personal and professional development. Through applied training programs, internship opportunities, and industry collaborations, we cultivate students as career-ready individuals. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, who registered this year's first students and made a statement, stated that the 2025-2026 academic year holds special significance as it marks the 20th anniversary of our university's founding. Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar emphasized the strides our university has made in the field of informatics for the 2025-2026 academic year. He stated that, in line with our vision in the field of informatics, we have added a new dimension to the field of informatics with our newly opened undergraduate and associate degree programs. Karasar said: “The steps we have taken on this path have been the product of a vision that shapes the professions of the future. Today, we are enrolling a student from one of these departments, which is a source of special pride for us. As Cappadocia University, we aim to educate young people who not only meet today's needs but will also build the world of tomorrow. I wish Alaattin Efe Yurteri, our student who has been accepted to our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department with a 100% scholarship and to whom I am currently enrolled, success in his education. I hope to award his diploma in the same way in a few years.”
