We are proud to announce the first graduate of our Political Science and International Relations doctoral program, which began accepting students in the 2021-2022 academic year.
On June 23, 2025, Özgür Nuhut, one of the first students in our doctoral program, successfully defended his thesis, "Analysis of the Russia-Ukraine War in the Context of Securitization," under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Şafak Oğuz, earning his doctoral degree.
This significant achievement demonstrates the quality and academic depth of our university's graduate education and strengthens our university's vision of social contribution and scientific production. Our Political Science and International Relations doctoral program will continue to train qualified researchers who will contribute to the discipline of international relations.
We sincerely congratulate Mr. Özgür Nuhut on his graduation and wish him continued success, as well as Prof. Dr. Şafak Oğuz, who provided him with academic guidance.
