Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visited our University following the International Geothermal Investment Summit in Ürgüp.

During the visit, which took place at our Mustafapaşa Campus, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, former Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişçi, Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan, NEVÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin, MHP Nevşehir Deputy Filiz Kılıç, AK Party Nevşehir Deputies Emre Çalışkan and Süleyman Özgün, Nevşehir Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Numan Öksüz, Nevşehir Police Chief Ali Loğoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Funda F. Aktan, AK Party Nevşehir Provincial Chairman Muhammed Feyzi Aygün, and their accompanying delegation were hosted at our Rector's office by Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar.

During the meeting, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz was briefed on our University's efforts in education, healthcare, culture, and regional tourism. Additionally, projects and collaboration opportunities that will contribute to regional development were evaluated. During his visit, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz received information about our University's academic and physical facilities and ongoing projects. At the ceremony held at the Rector's Office, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz was presented with the "Texts That Guide Us" and "Texts That Guide the West," series compiled by our founder Alev Alatlı, which illuminate his intellectual life, as well as works from Cappadocia Publications.
