The UAV-2 category pilot training, organized by our university's UAV Systems Application and Research Center, has been successfully completed. Pilot candidates who participated in the training received comprehensive flight training in flying unmanned aerial vehicles with takeoff weights ranging from 25 kg to 150 kg.
UAV-2 training, which covers large-scale unmanned aerial vehicles used for professional purposes, particularly in areas such as mapping, agriculture, imaging, infrastructure inspection, and logistics, stands out with their high payload and long range capabilities and plays a significant role in commercial activities.
During the UAV-2 training process, candidates develop their skills through hands-on training in controlled takeoff and landing, basic and advanced maneuvers, emergency scenarios, and flight techniques in different weather conditions. Through real-world field flights, candidates reinforce the practical knowledge necessary for safe and effective operations.
Our UAV Systems Application and Research Center trains professional, competent, and responsible pilots for the industry through these training programs. Successful candidates are eligible to receive a UAV-2 pilot license authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
We congratulate all candidates who participated in the training and wish them continued success.
