KÜN introduced to the public its artificial intelligence-supported digital assistant, KÜNAsist, which was developed to reduce workload and increase productivity in education and training processes.
Our University has introduced its new project, KÜNAsist, to the public, which will pioneer the digital transformation in higher education. Developed to reduce the workload of faculty members during teaching and learning processes and increase academic productivity, this AI-powered digital assistant has been specifically tailored to our University's scientific knowledge and pedagogical values.
As we prepare to celebrate our 20th anniversary in 2025, our University sees this significant milestone not only as a milestone but also as an opportunity to shape the future of higher education. With the KÜNAsist project, our University stands out as a concrete demonstration of the strategic breakthroughs we have made in recent years, particularly in the field of information and artificial intelligence-based educational technologies.
The foundation of KÜNAsist is a detailed needs analysis conducted by the Cappadocia University Artificial Intelligence Commission and the Learning and Teaching Development Commission. As part of the project, artificial intelligence models specific to the institutional culture were developed, based on the values that define our University's academic characteristics.
The system performs three primary functions: generation, analysis, and feedback:
The developed prototype was extensively tested during a pilot implementation process with the participation of more than 20 academics from different disciplines. During this process, not only the technical competence of the system but also the pedagogical value, validity, and reliability of the content delivered by AI were successfully verified in the field.
In the architecture, where academic security is prioritized, each user can operate in isolated workspaces, accessing only their own course content. This structure fully complies with data security and ethical principles.
KÜNAsist, which will be available throughout our University as of the 2025-2026 academic year, digitizes the daily academic processes of faculty members and stands out as a significant step towards the future of higher education.
