Fire drills were completed on the campuses of our university with the participation of our staff.
In accordance
with the provisions of the “Regulation on Fire Protection of Buildings” published in the Official Gazette No. 26735 dated 19/12/2007, fire drills were conducted on the campuses of our University for our staff. The exercises were held in order to increase the level of preparedness for emergencies and consolidate the correct methods of response in the event of a fire.
As part of supporting safe and conscious working environments, fire drills were held on Wednesday 11 February 2026 at 11 a.m. in Urgup Health Campus, on Thursday 12 February 2026 at 11 a.m. in our Factory Campus, on Friday 13 February 2026 at 11 a.m. in Mustafapaşa Campus and on Monday 16 February 2026 at 11:00 at our Montessori Kindergarten.
Within the scope of the exercises, fire alarm systems were deployed and controlled evacuation was implemented. Coordination of emergency teams was tested as personnel were directed to designated gathering areas. In the practical part, the correct use of fire extinguishing tubes was demonstrated and extinguishing practice was carried out accompanied by volunteer personnel.
Along with the exercises carried out, the procedures for protecting the safety of life and property in the event of a possible fire were reviewed; the effectiveness of the emergency organization was evaluated.
