Thanks to the work of the UAV Application and Research Center, nine athletes from the Cappadocia University Sports Club successfully participated in the FPV Drone Türkiye Championship.
Our students made their mark at the FPV Drone Turkish Championship, organized by the Turkish Air Sports Federation. Thanks to the efforts of the UAV Systems Application and Research Center, which operates within our university, nine athletes from the Cappadocia University Sports Club participated in this important event.
A total of 42 athletes competed in the first leg of the competition, held in Ankara. Among these athletes, Cappadocia University had the highest participation rate, with nine students from our university participating. Our students have been preparing for this competition with great dedication for a long time, honing their technical knowledge, reflexes, and coordination skills to the highest level.
The next leg of the competition will be held in Istanbul. Upon completion of this leg, the top 32 athletes from different competitors competing in Ankara and Istanbul will qualify for the final round. Cappadocia University students are expected to compete successfully in this final as well.
The UAV Systems Application and Research Center, which continues its training and practical work in FPV drone competitions, continues to support students to equip them with the skills to compete at the international level.
