Kayseri MP Ayşe Böhürler, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar and our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Funda Aktan visited Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır in his office.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, a number of digital technology projects planned to be implemented in Nevsehir and Kayseri were discussed. While evaluating the work carried out on the projects, opinions were exchanged on the planned applications and possibilities for cooperation.
The meeting also assessed the role that the University of Cappadocia can assume in the field of digital technologies in the field of education, research and cooperation activities that contribute to the development of the region. The focus was on the possibilities for combining the academic knowledge and collaborations developed by our university with different stakeholders with the planned studies in Nevşehir and Kayseri.
The visit also shared views on the potential of Nevşehir and Kayseri in the field of digital technologies and the development of this potential through new projects and inter-institutional collaborations. The contributions that the planned studies can make to the development of the digital technology ecosystem in the region and regional development were evaluated.
