In the KÜN Running Race organized by the organization of our Department of Health, Culture and Sports, our students came together to share the energy of sport and the excitement of competition.
Our students had a pleasant sports experience while demonstrating their speed, endurance and struggles within the natural fabric of Cappadocia, on the route of Mustafapaşa, which started in our campus and followed the Manastır Valley route and ended at the same point.
In the men's category, our 1st year student of Tourism Guidance Muhammed Esat Ayık was first with a rating of 39 minutes and 40 seconds; our 2nd year student of Dentistry Kadir Mümin Demir was second with 40 minutes 20 seconds and our Aircraft Technology Preparatory student Hüseyin Yağız Okman took third place with 40 minutes and 45 seconds.
In the women's category, Betül Sarıömeroğlu, our 4th year student, got the first place with a degree of 42 minutes 40 seconds; our Dentistry 1st year student Akasya Toptaş was second with 46 minutes 16 seconds and our Management Information Systems 2nd grade student Miraç Göçer was third with 48 minutes 8 seconds.
At the end of the competition, prizes were presented to our students who qualified in both categories.
