The Kütahya Tourism Master Plan was presented to Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy in Ankara. The plan was prepared by the KÜN Strategic Research Center at the request of the Zafer Development Agency.
The Kütahya Tourism Master Plan Presentation and Evaluation Meeting was held in Ankara, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, under the auspices of the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. The Kütahya Tourism Master Plan, prepared by our university's Social and Strategic Studies Application and Research Center, was presented to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, accompanied by the Kütahya Provincial Delegation, at the request of the Zafer Development Agency.
The presentation meeting was attended by Ministry officials, Kütahya Governor Musa Işın, Kütahya Deputies Mehmet Demir and İsmail Çağlar Bayırcı, Kütahya Mayor Eyüp Kahveci, AK Party Provincial Chair Ceyda Çetin Erenler, Zafer Development Agency Secretary General Kutlu Eser, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Zekeriya Ünal, President of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Esin Güral Argat, and from our university, Master Plan Coordinator Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Director of the Social and Strategic Studies Application and Research Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal and Project Assistant Lecturer Sinan Baran Bayar attended the meeting.
The Kütahya Tourism Master Plan, prepared by our university, aims to develop the city's tourism potential, identify strategies aligned with national and international tourism trends, and create a roadmap integrated with our country's development plans.
The meeting discussed concrete steps to promote Kütahya's cultural, historical, and natural assets to a wider audience. Important decisions were made to make the city a center of attraction and gain a stronger tourism identity, while the importance of collaborating with all local and regional stakeholders towards a shared vision was emphasized.
As Cappadocia University, we are pleased to contribute to Kütahya's tourism future with this comprehensive master plan and strengthen the city's brand value in line with sustainable development goals. Following the Kütahya Tourism Master Plan Presentation and Evaluation Meeting, the master plan will be implemented after revisions are made.
