The "Persian Basic Training," organized by our university's Continuing Education Center (SEM) as part of its in-service training programs, began on August 6, 2025, at the Güzelgöz Mansion.
The training will be delivered by Dr. Robabeh Taghizadehzonuz, a faculty member in our university's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. On the first day, participants were briefed on the basic structure of the Persian language, the use of the alphabet, everyday expressions, and basic grammar rules. The training also included practical exercises to develop participants' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The training, which emphasizes interdisciplinary communication, multilingual literacy, and regional linguistic diversity, will contribute to the development of academic and professional competence.
Our university once again demonstrated the diversity and quality of its in-service development opportunities in its training program, which offers participants the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a historically, culturally, and academically significant language like Persian. It was emphasized that such training, which provides participants with the opportunity to interact with different languages, is a significant advantage, especially for personnel working in communication, history, literature, and regional studies.
Cappadocia University Continuing Education Center will continue its in-service training programs in the coming period to contribute to the development of our academic and administrative staff.
