The CodeDocia25 Bootcamp, hosted by our university and held at our Mustafapaşa Campus, has been successfully completed. The event, which saw strong participation, once again showcased the power of technology and the productivity of young people.
As part of the event, students were exposed to a wide range of content, from the fundamentals of Python programming to data science and image processing applications, in training provided by Dr. Ahmet Özcan and Dr. Ahmet Herekoğlu. During the training, participants had the opportunity to develop projects using up-to-date software libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, AutoKeras, OpenCV, PIL, and TensorFlow. Throughout the Bootcamp, our students worked in seven teams on current, real-world problems such as "Object Classification from Images" and "Credit Card Fraud Detection." The teams, who completed their processes with impressive projects, gained valuable insights into project development experience and teamwork. Special awards were presented to the successful projects and the winners of the quiz competition at the end of the event at the awards ceremony.
Awards Presented at the End of the Training Programs
In addition to the data science and image processing categories, awards were presented to the winners of the quiz competition. In the data science category, Yusuf Özdemir, Ege Aratman, Mustafa Şen, and Muhittin Talha Yılmaz won the "Applied Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn, Keras, and TensorFlow" course (Buzdağı Publishing House). In the image processing category, Senanur Özcan, Elif Kömürcü, Melih Rıdvan Korkmaz, and Mert Özer won the "Deep Learning with Python" course (Buzdağı Publishing House), while quiz winner Senanur Özcan won the "Comprehensive Python Course: A Practical and Project-Based Introduction to Programming" course (Buzdağı Publishing House).
