When I was asked, “What do you want to do when you grow up?”, my answer was always “I want to fly.” To get one step closer to the sky I admired for years, I thought this school was the best choice. Now I realize that the quality of education, the events, and the opportunities provided here will enable me and my friends to step into our profession in the best possible way. The knowledge, confidence, and faith my instructors gave me have always been my guiding light and my family. Thanks to the opportunities offered by Cappadocia Vocational School, I believe I will reach the top in this profession; because I even found my prince at this school. If your dream is to reach the skies, I hope you also get the chance to meet our school, our instructors, and this environment. Hope to meet you in the skies.
I was born in Çeşme, Izmir. After finishing high school, based on my research and recommendations, I chose Cappadocia Vocational School because of my admiration for the blue skies and my trust that this school would bring me one step closer to my profession. I believe it was one of the most reasonable decisions I have ever made.
Although I was born in Mons, Belgium, I grew up in Izmir. I have always admired the aviation industry since I was a child. Now I am one step closer to the dreams I have had since childhood. I owe a lot to my teachers, who not only educated me but also gave me so much outside the classroom, and to our school. From now on, I believe that, thanks to our school, I will work as a qualified professional in the position I desire.
Aviation has always been one of my areas of interest. Cappadocia Vocational School is the place where my dreams come true with the education I have received here. The natural beauty of Cappadocia and the activities offered by our school are among the reasons why we enjoy our time here.
This school was the beginning of my climb to my own personal summits in life. My Cappadocia Vocational School journey started in 2012 and helped me find my place here. In 2013, I was elected as the President of the Student Council. I believe I have found the right place in Cappadocia VS life. Now, in line with my new goals, I am planning my own climbs to my Everests. Since 2015, I have been working as a Cabin Crew member at Pegasus Airlines.
I first met horses in Cappadocia seven years ago. Although life took me to different cities, a voice in my heart kept telling me that I should be with these beautiful animals. After researching the Equine Studies and Coaching programs, I learned that Sinan Özbek teaches at our school and decided to enroll. Another reason for my choice was that our university has its own farm and horses. I am currently doing my internship at the Foal Training Center (Tay Eğitim Merkezi) in the village of Mustafapaşa.
I came to this school asking myself and those around me, “Why this school?” I asked why I should study my chosen department here, and after extensive research and information from my guidance counselor and the internet, I chose this place. Before choosing Cappadocia Vocational School, I was an undergraduate student but didn’t like my department. Now I’m very happy to be studying this program, and I believe that when I graduate, thanks to the education from my instructors and the certificates I receive from our school, I will achieve great things.
As aspiring young chefs, we all know that receiving a solid education comes first. I wanted to enjoy my work and also stand out from others, and I believe I’ve come to exactly the right place. The school’s training kitchen is the biggest advantage for us because in our profession it is crucial to take in the atmosphere of the kitchen, know the ingredients, and recognize flavors. If you have the chance to study here, you will see that the academic staff exceeds your expectations. Beyond the education I receive, I must say I’ve had a lot of fun thanks to the activities our school offers its students. If you want to improve yourself, you should make your way to Cappadocia as soon as possible—because everything you’re looking for will be right at your fingertips here.
I came from Ankara to Cappadocia Vocational School to get one step closer to my dreams. Compared to my classmates, I’m luckier. This is my third year in this legendary town steeped in history. In addition to the theoretical knowledge I gained for my profession, I thought language education was equally important, so I completed a one-year preparatory program. I’m so glad I did—and that I had the chance to stay here for one more year. With the surroundings I still can’t finish exploring, the mystical atmosphere of our school, the profound knowledge of my instructors, and my dear friends, I’ve had three years full of experience. I’m sure I’ll be thankful once again when I’m on the plane applying everything I was taught. I hope everyone is as lucky as I am and gets the chance to experience this atmosphere, meet our teachers, and get to know our school.

I came from Ankara to Cappadocia Vocational School to get one step closer to my dreams. Compared to my classmates, I am luckier. This is my third year in this legendary town full of history. In addition to the theoretical knowledge I gained for my profession, I also thought language education was just as important, so I studied in a one-year preparatory program. I am glad I did. I am glad I had the chance to stay here one more year. With the surroundings I still haven’t finished exploring, the mystical atmosphere of our school, the profound knowledge of my instructors, and my precious friends, I have spent three years full of experience. I am sure I will once again give thanks when I apply everything I was taught while on board an aircraft. I hope everyone is as lucky as I am to experience this atmosphere, meet our teachers, and get to know our school.
I graduated from Fethiye Fatih Anatolian High School in 2013. I came to this school upon recommendation. The education and social activities of the school helped me improve positively. Here, you can join various clubs to maintain your hobbies, engage in outdoor sports, or take part in professional practice related to your field. The main reason I chose this department is that the health field offers greater employment opportunities. I believe the education I am receiving will make me a qualified technician.
I came to Cappadocia Vocational School to study my dream program, Child Development. Before arriving, I had researched everything down to the course content the school offers. I was especially interested in receiving Montessori training. I know I can realize my dreams here and that, when I graduate, I will find the job I want with the qualifications I’ve gained. My instructors here are very attentive, and I am sure I could not get this education anywhere else. It is also a great advantage that we have a practice school where we can reinforce what we learn by doing. The activities are excellent, and I love the campus environment. Since September 2016, I have been working as a preschool teacher at Doğa College in my hometown of İskenderun.
I was born in Karşıyaka, İzmir. I completed my primary and middle school education in Karşıyaka. Later, I moved to Antalya and continued my studies at Antalya Anatolian Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School. After graduating from high school, I went to Russia for language study and stayed for one year in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. During my language education, I realized that I did not want to continue in tourism and that I wanted to be in the aviation sector. After researching all the universities, I learned that the best education was at Cappadocia Vocational School, took the university exam, and was admitted to the program. I have seen how right my decision was through the job opportunities my school provided.
On the last evening of my university preferences, my aunt Şefika called me, very excited, and told me to turn on NTV. She said there was a program called Civil Air Transport Management at a school named Cappadocia Vocational School and that it was perfect for me. I immediately researched it, made my decision that same night, and placed it at the top of my list. It seemed almost too good to be true to me, because they stated there was job assurance and that the English education was strong—let alone my inner desire to be in aviation. When the results came and I learned that I had been accepted with a full scholarship among the four spots at the school, my excitement was indescribable. October came and school started. I finished a whole year in the English preparatory class with lessons and homework; then the next two years flew by, and now I’m a graduate. Since September 2016, I have been working as an Operations Officer at Pegasus. Although our Istanbul campus is far from the city center (the school is at Sabiha Gökçen Airport) and the buildings there are not very large, the job opportunities provided to us, the quality of the instructors teaching our professional courses, and the English education can never be overlooked.
I graduated in 2007. In the same year, together with my friends, I founded the Cappadocia Vocational School Alumni Association. Since 2008, I have been serving as a member of the Cappadocia Vocational School Board of Trustees. In December 2007, I started working at Onur Air as a Supervisor. In 2008, I served at Onur Air’s overseas hubs. I am currently working in Onur Air’s Ground Operations department, both in domestic and international assignments.
I was born in İzmir in 1987 and graduated top of my class in 2009 from the Culinary Arts Department of Cappadocia Vocational School, where I studied on a scholarship. I returned with awards from the 2009 Golden Young Chef competition and the 2011 Team Competitions. After school, I attended the Arab and African Union Heads of Government Summit three times, and at the third I concluded my assignment with a Special Letter of Appreciation from the King of Morocco’s villa. I worked as a Chef Instructor in the Culinary Program at Istanbul Aydın University. I provided menu consultancy to various restaurants in Turkey and abroad, and I served as Executive Chef at 3 beş 7 Restaurant on Bağdat Avenue. Later, with the establishment of Kitchen Studio Academy, I became the head instructor-chef. In 2013, my spouse and I came up with the idea for MadSheep Culinary Solutions. Under MadSheep, we offered services such as VIP Chef and catering. You can currently see me on the Türkmax Gurme channel on Digitürk every weekday with the program “Mutfaktakiler.” In 2014, we also founded Cake Lab—virtually an experimental kitchen—through which we conduct R&D, training, consultancy, and sales in the field of pastry.
In 2005, as one of Cappadocia VS’s first 68 students, I enrolled in the Tourist Guiding program. After graduating in 2007, I decided I should work in aviation—a field I had always been interested in—where I would stay in constant contact with people. In 2008, I started working as a cabin crew member at Inter Airlines. Since 2009, my address in the sky has been Turkish Airlines. I am still flying as a Cabin Chief at Turkish Airlines.
I’m here because I love the sky and the passion for flying, and because I know I can improve myself in this field. Every time I looked at the sky, I thought, “One day I must be up there too.” That’s why I know I’ve taken the right step for both my education and my future career, and not only for that—I also feel very lucky for the experiences, knowledge, and friendships I’ve gained here.
I graduated from Kilis Industrial Vocational High School in 2011. I came to this school on a recommendation. The education and social activities here affected me positively. By joining various clubs, you can pursue your hobbies or take part in practice related to your profession. The most important reason I chose this department is that health fields offer more employment opportunities. I believe the education I receive will make me a qualified technician.
I started researching this profession during high school, and because I believed it suited me and that I would do it with love, I’m studying it at this school. Although I started in 2012–2013, I first took an optional English preparatory year. In my first year, I successfully passed the certificate exams for my courses. The education my school provides and the fact that our department instructors are experienced professionals have helped me both better grasp and further love this profession. Our instructors didn’t give us a superficial education; by sharing their on-the-job experience, they helped us understand things more deeply. Most importantly, they instilled in us the principles of being error-free, punctual, careful, and working for the benefit of the airline we will serve. Knowing that job experience is vital in aviation, my first goal is to gain work experience during my internship and to understand this job much better.
I was born and raised in Ankara. I completed high school at Ankara Etlik Girls’ Technical and Vocational High School, studying Child Development. Right after graduating, I was admitted to Cappadocia Vocational School on a full scholarship—one of the proudest moments of my life. I was very excited both to study in a place steeped in history and to be on the path toward my goals. After coming to this school, I learned many things about my education and about life: dedication, effort, standing on your own feet, the ambition to succeed, patience, sacrifice, and the joy of running toward your goals… Cappadocia Vocational School introduced us to Montessori Education, which lets us start one step ahead of others. We learned, in the finest detail, how to approach children with a different educational method, treat them like true individuals and give them responsibility, guide them when necessary and let them be when necessary, and how to instill discipline and education in a child—in short, how to raise children who look to the future with hope. Among my goals was to study other departments that could contribute to Child Development. I am currently also studying Social Services at Anadolu University. After university, I would like to complete my two-year program to a four-year degree. I am currently working in Ankara as a Montessori Education Coordinator at Beysukent Montessori Kindergarten.
My Cappadocia Vocational School adventure began in 2011 with an ad I saw in a newspaper. Since the school was largely focused on aviation, I gathered more information via the school’s website. As my research deepened, I realized that the school and profession I had dreamed of were here. I studied for a total of three years, including the preparatory class, at Cappadocia Vocational School in historic buildings under the guidance of knowledgeable, well-equipped, and friendly instructors. In the land of beautiful horses, we enjoyed many activities after classes. Good friendships, a solid education, and a warm atmosphere gave me more than I expected. I graduated in 2014 from the Cabin Services program, which offers job assurance and a promising future, and I am currently working as a Cabin Crew Member at Turkish Airlines.
Let me begin by saying how warm an environment the school—and especially the Culinary Arts department—offers. For two years it was both a home and a school to me; I believe the education I received brought me to a very good level, something I proved with the medal I received at the Istanbul Gastronomy Festival. In my view, the school is excellent in every respect. Even though some approach Nevşehir with prejudice and say it is not a student city, that warm atmosphere I mentioned embraces you and seemingly makes up for everything. More than once I was grateful I hadn’t ended up at a different school, even if I had scored five more points on an exam. I feel very fortunate to have had those two years. After graduating, I continued my education—through the Vertical Transfer Exam—at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University in the Gastronomy department.
I am 19 years old and a graduate of Mersin IMKB Anatolian Health Vocational High School, Dental Prosthesis Technology. After the dental health training I received in high school, I wanted to choose our school to develop myself academically. Although I had a few question marks in my mind while making my preference, once I came to Cappadocia and saw our campus environment, I realized once again that I had made the right choice…
In the year I prepared for university, I attended our school’s promotional seminar in Bandırma. Through my research I learned that the school had a strong faculty and that the lecturers had worked for many years in the subjects they teach. I chose this place because of its contribution to the aviation sector and its importance in Türkiye. Taking our graduates’ success and positions as examples, I want to achieve the same after graduation and carry on our school’s tradition. I want to successfully put into practice at work what I have learned at school, reach the highest level I can, and remain at that level for a long time.
Thanks to my school, the future I dreamed of has become a reality I count down to. This school made me fly—yes, in both senses. At the end of my first year, through the Erasmus opportunity it provided, I worked in Germany for two and a half months. And it gifted me wonderful people… Not only our teaching staff and the special colleagues I got to know on campus, but also the network I met through a program they encouraged me to join in my second year. After a three-day camp, I won another exchange-student award that sent me back to Germany for a second summer. There were times I cried, tried to hide it, or couldn’t help but rebel, yet as I near the end, the only thing I think is: “I spent two years here that were the most idealistic of my life—years that helped me grow and flung open the doors to dreams I thought impossible.” If, like me, you are in love with flying, with the clouds, with the world and every language and nation, then your runway is Cappadocia Vocational School—may the sky be your life. Because THE FUTURE IS IN THE SKIES!
I’m someone who loves to smile and have fun, to rush to help people, to assist them, and to listen to their problems. Because of the pace of life I’m used to, I want to see different cities and countries. After completing my studies here, I want to top-up my degree to a four-year program and advance in this sector. My biggest goal is to become the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
I started at my school in 2005 and graduated on 16 June 2007 after a two-year program. On 27 July 2007, I began at ACT Airlines (MyCargo) as an HR Assistant Specialist. On 1 January 2009, I was promoted within ACT Airlines and continued as an HR Specialist. In 2013, I joined the TAILWIND AIRLINES family. Since 1 April 2013, I have been working at Tailwind Airlines as an HR Specialist.
