The presentation program, which was chaired by Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, was attended by Uşak Governor Serdar Kartal, AK Parti Uşak MPs İsmail Güneş and Fahrettin Tuğrul, Director of Culture and Tourism of Usak Yavuz Çakar and AK Parti Uşak Provincial President Himmet Yaşar. The program includes represented the Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Bahar, Assoc. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal and Research Assistant Fatıma Tüzzehra Albayrak. Within the scope of the Uşak Tourism Master Plan prepared in accordance with scientific data and participatory planning approach; the natural, cultural, historical and gastronomic values of the province were considered in a holistic approach. In line with the analyses, stakeholder meetings, focus group meetings and field studies, Usak's tourism vision, priority development areas and strategic goals were revealed.

In the presentation; planning approach and basic recommendations for more effective evaluation of tourism resources owned by Uşak, increasing tourism diversity, strengthening destination management and positioning the province as a highly competitive destination in line with sustainable tourism concept were conveyed to Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

The aim of the Uşak Tourism Master Plan is to contribute to the planned and sustainable development of the tourism potential of the province, to increase the contribution of tourism to local and regional development and to strengthen the visibility of Usak in the national tourism market.
