The launch program of Sivas Tourism Master Plan and Tourism Development Action Plan, prepared in order to reveal Sivas' tourism vision, priority areas of development and future actions, was carried out.

Organized under the auspices of the Governor of Sivas; Sivas Provincial Special Administration, Sivas Municipality, Central Anatolia Development Agency, Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sivas Chamber of Artisans and Artisans Association, protocol members, representatives of institutions, industry stakeholders and members of the press participated in the program.

Within the scope of the program, TBMM AK Party Group Chairman Mr. Abdullah Güler, Governor of Sivas Dr. Yılmaz Şimşek, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Nadir Alparslan, AK Party Sivas MP Mr. Rukiye Toy, MHP Sivas Deputy Mr. Ahmet Özyürek, Mayor of Sivas Dr. Adem Uzun, Sivas Trade and Mr. Zeki Özdemir, President of the Chamber of Industry, Mr. Hakan Demirgil, President of the Association of Chambers of Artisans and Artisans, Mr. Hakan Demirgil, and Mr. Yunus Emre Şeker, Secretary General of the Central Anatolian Development Agency, delivered the speeches. Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan, Assoc. Dr. Halil Burak Sakal, Lecturer at the launch representing our University. Dr. Avşin Ayhan attended. After the protocol talks, the Sivas Tourism Master Plan and Tourism Development Action Plan Launch Presentation was presented by Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gülcan and Associate Professor Dr. Halil Burak Sakal representing the University of Cappadocia. In the presentation, Sivas tourism potential, destination development priorities, product diversification areas, sustainable tourism approach and applicable action titles were shared.

The launch program was considered an important step in addressing the cultural, historical, natural and gastronomic values possessed by Sivas with a more holistic approach and moving the province to a stronger position in tourism.
