The Policy Research Society of our University organized a technical trip to Ankara in order to help our students to get to know the political institutions on the spot and to closely observe the functioning of legislative processes in Turkey.
As part of the trip, our students visited the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and learned about the institutional structure of the Assembly, legislative activities and decision-making processes. After the visit to the TBMM, our students who visited Anıtkabir had the opportunity to see one of the most important places in the history of the Republic and national memory on the spot.
The technical trip carried out by our Society for Policy Studies helped our students to support their academic background with field experience and to strengthen their awareness of political institutions, Republican history and social memory.
