Our University, which continues its efforts to make sustainability part of the corporate management concept and different fields of activity, was renewed after the successful completion of the evaluation process carried out within the scope of 2026, the Biosphere Sustainability Certificate, which we were entitled to receive for the first time in 2024.
Based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SKA) identified under the United Nations 2030 Agenda, the Biosphere system is being implemented as an international sustainability management and certification model developed by the Responsible Tourism Institute (RTI). The renewal of the 2026 certificate of our university demonstrates once again the alignment of its work in the field of sustainability with these objectives.
The certificate emphasizes that our University implements Biosphere sustainability actions aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and actively involves its employees in the process along the lines of a common understanding of sustainability.
The renewal of our Biosphere Sustainability Certificate in 2026 stands out as an important indicator of the continuous development of our sustainability work without being limited to periodic practices and its corporate approach in this area. We continue to contribute to sustainable development through our work in different areas ranging from education to research, from corporate practices to social contribution.
