MEDEK (Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs) is an independent, transparent, and competent evaluation and accreditation body established to carry out quality assurance processes for associate degree-level vocational education programs in Turkey. The association was founded with the encouragement and support of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), within the framework of Turkey's strategic development plans, with the aim of contributing to a qualified workforce and improving the quality of vocational schools and their graduates. Motivated by this vision and with the support of universities, MEDEK was officially established in 2021. In 2023, the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) granted MEDEK the authority to accredit 83 associate degree programs in the fields of health, social sciences, and technical disciplines based on predetermined standards, quality criteria, and performance indicators.
To lead the development of vocational professionals who follow vocational advancements, can respond to the evolving needs of the labor market, possess high-level vocational skills and competencies, are innovative, socially responsible, proactive, and meet the qualifications sought by the relevant sectors.
To contribute to the enhancement of educational quality by providing information, external evaluation, and accreditation services for associate degree programs.
To become a leading institution that certifies the quality of associate degree programs' educational, research, and administrative processes by defining the quality of intermediate workforce in accordance with national and international standards and sharing the outcomes with relevant institutions and organizations.

In this direction, our associate degree vocational education programs actively participate in continuous improvement and external evaluation processes in line with the quality assurance principles established by MEDEK (Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs).
In accordance with our university's vision, we aim to become a higher education institution that is transparent, traceable, and student-centered, recognized nationally and internationally, and contributes to society.
In this context, as of the 2024–2025 academic year, accreditation applications have been submitted for the following programs: Medical Laboratory Techniques, Pathology Laboratory Techniques, Computer Programming, and Cybersecurity Technology. The process is currently ongoing.
