Dear Students, Esteemed Alumni, and Valued Stakeholders,
Welcome to the Cappadocia University School of Applied Sciences. Our mission here is to transform knowledge into practice and to equip our students with the competence, character, and vision needed to make a difference in a rapidly changing world.
Our program portfolio — including Aviation Management, Tourism Guidance, Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance, Aviation Electrical and Electronics, and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts — is designed to integrate theory and practice in a mutually reinforcing way. From workshops and laboratory practices to field applications, from projects carried out with industry professionals to courses that tackle current challenges, every step provides hands-on experiences that prepare you for the real world. Alongside technical proficiency, we also emphasize essential professional skills such as teamwork, ethical awareness, and effective communication.
We have placed the principle of lifelong learning at the heart of our school culture. To stay current in rapidly evolving technological and service industries, we promote continuous development through professional practice projects and vocational certificate programs. In this way, our students are empowered to renew and advance themselves at every stage of their careers.
Our academic and administrative staff work together to create an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative learning environment. Through regular meetings, advising hours, and a culture of collective production, we are building a strong community where every voice is heard.
The unique geography and cultural heritage of Cappadocia provide a vast learning laboratory — from tourism to gastronomy, aviation to creative industries. We bring this richness together with our sectoral partners, applied courses, project studios, and local–global networks, inviting our students to produce with a focus on sustainability, quality, and innovation.
I invite you to embark on a journey of curiosity, exploration, experimentation, and sharing. The doors of our school are always open to all who wish to learn, teach, and succeed together.
With love and respect,
Dr. Eyup ATİOĞLU
Director, School of Applied Sciences
