MEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs) is an independent, transparent, and competent evaluation and accreditation organization established to carry out quality assurance processes of associate degree-level vocational education programs in Turkey. The steps related to the establishment of the association were taken with the encouragement and support of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), within the framework of Turkey’s strategic development plans, in order to contribute to a qualified workforce and enhance the quality of vocational schools and their graduates.
