The Civil Aviation Management Department trains qualified personnel with high foreign language proficiency who can actively participate in processes ranging from passenger services to monitoring and supervising flight operations. It is a field suitable for those who want to actively work in the rapidly growing aviation sector and contribute to its future growth.
The Civil Aviation Management Department at Kapadokya Vocational School provides students with not only an associate degree upon graduation but also civil aviation certificates and foreign language proficiency. Through active collaborations with leading companies in the sector, our students gain the opportunity for long-term internships and work experience while still studying, and they secure their positions in the industry after graduation.
Students enrolled in the English Civil Aviation Management Associate Degree Program, with intensive language training during preparatory classes and their professional English competence, can also work in international sectors. Our university offers the Civil Aviation Management programs in Turkish and English at the Kapadokya campus, and the English program at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport campus.

Graduates can work at airports in ground services companies serving airlines, in representative firms conducting supervision and control, in airlines’ ground operations departments, in various departments of airport terminal operations, in air cargo companies, ticket sales agencies, and, if successful in KPSS, in public institutions such as SHGM and DHMİ. Positions include passenger service officer, operations officer at ground service companies, supervisor at representative firms or airlines, accrual officer at terminals, operations control center officer, and terminal operations officer.
At our university, the curriculum is designed according to the sector’s requirements so that students are theoretically equipped before entering the workforce. During their studies, students receive courses such as Passenger Services, Ramp, Load Control, Communication, Representation, and Cargo Operations. Upon successful completion, they are entitled to certificates and participation documents in accordance with the authorization granted to our university by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Additional courses include Introduction to Civil Aviation, Aviation Safety Management, Heliport Management, Airline Management, Terminal Services and Management, Meteorology, Ticketing and Travel Agency, General Tourism, Cultural Preferences Management, Quality Management, and Dangerous Goods Regulations.
*Students choosing the Istanbul campus must meet airport entry card requirements to participate in practical training, internships, and other educational activities at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. To obtain an entry card, students must submit a Criminal Record Certificate during registration and must not have convictions for crimes such as embezzlement, fraud, bribery, theft, forgery, offenses under the Anti-Terror Law, Drug Control Law, Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets Law, and Currency Protection Law.
Graduates of the program receive an associate degree in Civil Aviation Management.
