Academic staff will be recruited for the following units of our university in accordance with the relevant legislation.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF FACULTY MEMBER RECRUITMENT
Academic members will be recruited for the positions specified below in various departments of our university in accordance with the relevant articles of the Higher Education Law No. 2547, the Regulation on Promotion and Appointment to Faculty Membership, and the Regulation on Foundation Higher Education Institutions. Applicants must meet the minimum application requirements according to the relevant regulations and submit the required documents specified on our university website to the Rectorate of our University located in Cappadocia University, Mustafapaşa Campus, Yeni Mevkii Ürgüp Sk. No:4 Mustafapaşa-Ürgüp/Nevşehir, within the deadline. If the application file contains any missing documents, the candidate's application will not be evaluated. The applicant cannot claim any rights arising from this. The application period is 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the announcement. Applications not submitted within the due date or sent by mail or e-mail will not be accepted. Applications must be made in person. A person cannot apply for more than one position.

Required documents for the assistant professor position:

  • Application form (Available on our university website).
  • CV in YÖK format.
  • Publication list.
  • Bachelor's, master's, and doctoral certificates approved by a notary or official institution. (Can be obtained through e-Government)
  • T.R. ID card/ID card copy.
  • Criminal record (can be obtained via e-Government)
  • 2 passport-sized photographs (name/surname and the position applied for will be written on the back of the photographs).
  • Male candidates, a certified copy of their military service documents.
  • 1 file containing application documents, scientific studies, and publications, and 4 USB recordings.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF STAFF RECRUITMENT FOR POSITIONS OTHER THAN TEACHING STAFF
The units of our university specified in the table below will be recruited in accordance with the relevant articles of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding Central and Entrance Exams to be Applied in Appointments to Teaching Staff Positions Other Than Teaching Staff. Applicants must meet the requirements and complete the required documents stipulated in the "Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding Central and Entrance Exams to be Applied to Appointments to Teaching Staff Positions Other than Faculty Members," published in the Official Gazette dated November 9, 2018, and numbered 30590. Applications must be submitted in person or by mail. Applications submitted via email will not be accepted. A person cannot apply for more than one position.

Required documents for teaching or research assistant positions:

  • Application form (Including the department name, announcement date, correspondence address, and telephone number)
  • Application form (Available on our university website),
  • ALES score document,
  • Service document obtained from higher education institutions where ALES exemption is required, and appointment form letter,
  • Document proving that the applicant has received an equivalent score from a foreign language exam and/or an exam recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education,
  • Photocopy of ID Card,
  • CV,
  • Document proving discharge, deferment, or exemption from military service for male candidates,
  • Undergraduate/Graduate Certificates (can be obtained with a certified document or through e-Government),
  • Undergraduate transcript (can be obtained with a certified document or through e-Government),
  • Two photographs taken within the last six months,
  • Proof of postgraduate education (can be obtained with a certified document or through e-Government)
  • Document proving that undergraduate graduates have 2 (two) years of work experience in their field (experience requirement is not required) (For positions) After graduation, a certified service record from the Social Security Institution (SGK) must be attached for the job. Applications will not be accepted if the specified period is not met.)
  • Criminal record (can be obtained through e-Government.)

 
NOTE:
Graduation documents, transcripts, and military service documents that cannot be obtained through e-Government must be originals or officially certified copies. Diplomas obtained from foreign countries must be a certified copy of an equivalence certificate approved by the Council of Higher Education.

  • If it is later determined that the applicants' conditions do not meet the requirements, their appointments will not be made, or if they have been made, their appointments will be canceled. The applicant is deemed to have accepted this requirement.
