The Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Department is a program where the structures and systems of aircraft are studied in detail, and the inspection, maintenance, and repair of these structures and systems are supported with practical training based on theoretical courses.
Why Should I Study Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance at Cappadocia University?
Cappadocia University is authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of our country as a "SHY-147 Approved Training Organization," therefore offering training content approved by the civil aviation authority and providing graduates with the advantage of shortened experience periods and employability. With this authority, Cappadocia University is also able to conduct the module exams required for becoming a licensed technician. Our students can take these exams during their studies without having to go elsewhere.
In addition to being an institution that has provided training in many fields of aviation for years, our university contributes to the personal development of students thanks to its instructors who are highly experienced and knowledgeable about aviation culture.
In the final year of their studies, students are offered the opportunity to work full-time with partner airline companies, allowing them to complete their practical basic training in real maintenance environments. Since this training is recognized as basic training experience by the DGCA, Cappadocia University graduates have the advantage of graduating with a year of credit toward earning the title of certified technician.
