WHAT IS PEDAGOGICAL FORMATION TRAINING?

Pedagogical formation training is a certificate program offered to students in certain undergraduate programs at our university that provides pedagogical learning outcomes that form the basis of the teaching profession. It aims to ensure that individuals who will work in education-related professions, such as teaching, acquire pedagogical knowledge and skills.

WHY TAKE PEDAGOGICAL FORMATION TRAINING?

Pedagogical formation is a document that allows those who are not graduates of a Faculty of Education to become teachers. Individuals who complete the necessary training are provided with technical information about teaching and gain the competence and equipment to practice the teaching profession.

The quota numbers for each department offering Pedagogical Formation Training at our university are announced during the application phase. If the number of applications exceeds the quota, students eligible for formation training are ranked from highest to lowest by their overall weighted GPA.

At our university, students enrolled in formation training are given the opportunity to take courses in pedagogical formation training instead of the elective course loads in their curriculum.
