As the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, our goal is to educate individuals who seek to understand humans in a multidimensional way within individual, societal, and cultural contexts, who can think critically, conduct research, and guide society. In this regard, we prioritize the development of individuals who are not only academically competent but also ethically responsible and conscious of their country.
We aim to train opinion leaders who will have a say in Turkey’s future in this faculty. With this vision, we seek to provide our students not only with knowledge production skills but also with the determination to solve social problems and the responsibility to guide public opinion.
By leveraging the strong tradition of our university, our interdisciplinary approach allows our students to look at the world critically and from multiple perspectives. Our faculty offers strong academic diversity with programs in English Language and Literature, English Translation and Interpreting, Psychology, Turkish Language and Literature, Political Science and Public Administration, and Political Science and International Relations (English).
Our vision is to become a center that produces knowledge on a global scale, trains individuals sensitive to social issues, committed to ethical values, and with a broad sphere of influence. For this purpose, we provide an intellectually rich educational environment focusing on contemporary topics such as social justice, human rights, cultural diversity, and sustainability.

The Political Science and Public Administration Department provides knowledge and skills for understanding governance, policy-making, and public management.
