As a result of developments in information technologies, the security of web and mobile applications, network systems, and information stored in both physical and virtual environments has become increasingly important. Security problems faced by private companies, public institutions, and individuals are rising day by day. The main goal of the Cybersecurity Technology Program is to produce a workforce equipped with the qualifications and skills needed by companies operating in every field, particularly in information technologies, information security, and cybersecurity.
Cappadocia University provides students with access to the latest technologies through computer laboratories equipped with the necessary technical and infrastructure facilities within the School. Students gain hands-on experience by working on projects that meet the needs of public institutions and private sector organizations, producing skilled, talented, and qualified graduates.
Graduates of the Cybersecurity Technology program can find employment in both the private sector and public institutions as “Technicians” under various titles such as Cybersecurity Specialist, Cybersecurity Technician, Computer Programmer, System Support Staff, System Security Specialist, System and Network Manager, System Support Specialist, Cybersecurity Technician, or Cybersecurity Officer. They have opportunities to work in software companies, public institutions, financial organizations, educational institutions, and various other sectors.
Students of the Cybersecurity Technology Program can take advantage of the double major (ÇAP) opportunity, enriching their cybersecurity-focused technical expertise with complementary technology disciplines to expand their career horizons.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Technology Operations
Students accepted into the double major program can complete a second associate degree alongside their primary Cybersecurity Technology program, earning two separate diplomas. This allows them to combine their competencies in penetration testing, secure network architecture, and threat analysis with software development skills or UAV system expertise, giving them a strong competitive advantage in public, private, and R&D organizations.
This double major opportunity helps our students stand out in the dynamic cybersecurity and technology sectors by improving their project management, multidisciplinary teamwork, and innovative technology integration skills.
