Since the 2018–2019 academic year, the practice training of Cappadocia University’s Culinary and Gastronomy programs has been carried out in a newly established training kitchen located in a building allocated by the Uçhisar Municipality. Uçhisar, with its numerous boutique hotels and restaurants, is one of Cappadocia’s most important food and beverage centers. Situated in this unique location, the Uçhisar Arts Campus offers students the opportunity to closely engage with the sector thanks to its proximity to tourism facilities. At the Uçhisar Arts Campus, it is planned not only to educate future chefs but also to provide training for local residents and tourists, thereby enhancing the service quality of boutique enterprises. The campus includes three training kitchens, a pastry kitchen, and a service training area, each offering students the chance to practice individually at their own workstations.
