İSTANBUL SABİHA GÖKÇEN CAMPUS

The Sabiha Gökçen Campus of Cappadocia University is the first and only campus in Turkey located within the premises of an international airport, and is one of the most striking examples of industry-university cooperation.

İstanbul is the heart of contemporary Turkish aviation, and the İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport is one of İstanbul’s two commercial air travel centers. The airport is in a convenient location, and our campus is built inside the airport.

Our cooperation with the civil aviation sector is reinforced by our unique location within İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, and students have the ideal opportunity to work part-time in the aviation sector, combining theory and practice within the high-quality education they receive. The students of Cappadocia University at the Nevşehir campuses also have the opportunity to gain practical experience in İstanbul.

Our Sabiha Gökçen campus extends into “Technopark İstanbul”, which is an R&D zone supported by civil and official authorities. This part of our University aims to contribute to technological research & development in these fields.
