Who Can Apply?

High School senior students or graduates with following qualifications:

  1. Foreign citizens,
  2. Turkish citizens by birth who have been allowed to renounce nationality by the Ministry of Interior and their minor children registered in the renouncement document possessing the Document Related to Exercising the Rights Granted by Turkish Citizenship Enactment No. 5901.
  3. Foreign nationals by birth who have later adopted Turkish Citizenship or hold double nationality,
  4. Turkish nationals who have completed all of their highschool education in a foreign country other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (including those who have completed their highschool education in a Turkish school other than NCTR),
  5. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus nationals who reside in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and who hold GCE AL exam results having completed their highschool education in The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as well as those who have enrolled in private and other highschools and received education between 2005-2010 and hold or will be holding GCE AL exam results can apply.

How to make final registration?

Students who are admitted to Cappadocia University are kindly asked to provide the original copies of all the documents submitted with their application. For final registration, the candidate must come to one of our Cappadocia or Istanbul Campusses with the originals of the documents requested during application process.

Final registration procedures are completed with the fulfillment of the citizenship requirement specified by YÖK (higher education institution in Turkey) and the complete submission of the following documents requested by the Registrar's Office.

  1. Application form (printed and signed original of the previously filled online form),
  2. According to the evaluation of the Foreign National Admission Commission, the original of your result/diploma*,
  3. The original or notarized copy of the high school diploma approved by our foreign representatives (approved translation in languages ​​other than Turkish or English),
  4. Transcript: The original certified by the high school you graduated from and our foreign representative offices, and if it is not in Turkish or English, a notarized translation,
  5. "Equivalence certificate" showing that the high school diploma is recognized by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey and is equivalent to the high schools in Turkey, Photocopy of the first page of the passport or a document showing that they have the status of candidate in accordance with the criteria specified in paragraph a of article 5,
  6. 6 passport size photographs in 4.5 x 6 dimensions,
  7. Receipt of payment,
  8. Document on health insurance information (SGK statement or private health etc.),
  9. Document showing your livelihood (document showing that you have an account in any bank or a copy of your passbook),
  10. Residence / Residence Permit / Study Visa,
  11. The language of instruction is Turkish. Result document showing Turkish proficiency or at least B1 level (2),
  12. Registration documents required by the Student Affairs Unit:

*Candidates who want to apply with the Cappadocia University Foreign Student Exam (KÜN YÖS) and YÖS scores taken by other universities and recognized by our university;

At least 30 points out of 100 for application to Associate Degree programs,

A minimum of 40 points out of 100 for applications to undergraduate programs,

To apply to the Department of Dentistry, they must get at least 80 points out of 100.

(1) For applications to Health and Aviation programs, program/department specific conditions and requirements must be met.

(2) Candidates who do not have TYS (Turkish proficiency certificate) and want to take the Turkish Proficiency Exam organized by Cappadocia University;

- Mark the "I Want to Take the Turkish Exam" section specified in the YÖS application form

- Those who doesn't have YÖS application and yet want to apply for TYS only must send an e-mail to international@kapadokya.edu.tr at least three days before the exam schedule stated below, together with the passport and receipt showing that the exam participation fee (15 usd) has been paid,

Candidates who want to apply only for TYS without applying for YÖS,

- Photocopy of the passaport

- Contact information (Mobile Phone)

- It is necessary to send an e-mail to international@kapadokya.edu.tr with the receipt stating that the 15 USD, which is the TYS exam participation fee, has been paid to the Garanti Bank currency account number TR67 0006 2001 0410 0009 0961 11.
