Logic
Understanding the world requires an ability to apply reason and to use the tools of logic. Cappadocia graduates are able to fight their way through the clamor of available data and get to the root of the issue at hand.

Wisdom
Viable educational systems do not materialize in a void, nor does the rejection of our Seljuk-Ottoman heritage facilitate the formation of comprehensive programs. In Cappadocia, we embrace a unique model that combines our quest for universal truth with traditional methods of teaching.

Equality
At Cappadocia University, we believe that an educated mind has the ability to entertain a thought without automatically accepting it. Our students, regardless of their language, religion and, of course, gender, have the right to access any and all information that is humanly possible. We do not expect them to knuckle down under anything except true knowledge.

Tradition
We believe that tradition is a guide, not a jailer. It is not the worship of ashes but an attempt to preserve the fire. A critical reflection of human welfare, values, justice and alternative visions of the future should be central to everything, from engineering to politics, that goes on in Cappadocia University.
