Graduate School

The aim of the School of Graduate Studies and Research is to make unique contributions to the academic world by enabling students to engage in independent and interdisciplinary graduate studies and research. To this end, the school provides students with an ideal scholarly environment and the opportunity to specialize in their areas of interest, offering them advanced educational programs in a variety of selected fields.

The graduates of the school are young academicians and public leaders with competencies in contemporary approaches to thinking, learning and writing. They are able to engage in interdisciplinary studies, and to come up with solutions to social, economic and political problems at both theoretical and practical levels. Specialization is encouraged in our graduate programs, and we encourage our graduate students to participate at international academic conferences, to take active part in multidisciplinary research projects and publish their works in our journals.

In addition to offering select programs with innovative curricula reflecting the most recent international scholarly debates, the Cappadocia University School of Graduate Studies and Research also organizes seminars to bring students face-to-face with distinguished intellectuals, scholars, opinion leaders and expert professionals both from within and outside the academy. Using its advanced technological infrastructure, the school offers most of its courses also as distance learning programs. The availability of both conventional and distance education programs not only increases the outreach of the school, but also ensures that students enrolled in all programs can benefit from the curricular and extracurricular opportunities that Cappadocia University has to offer.
